The purpose of the fundraising committee is to secure the funds necessary to operate Advance Atlanta at a level that enables us to achieve our goals.
Responsibilities
- Carry out fundraising plan to achieve funding goal set by annual budget.
- Identify organizational and individual membership levels and benefits associated with them.
- Target and maintain relationships with various member types:
Corporate (Real Estate, Engineering & Architecture, and Other) Governmental, Quasi-Governmental, CID & Chamber Partners Academic, Advocacy, Foundation or Non-profit Partner Individual Members. - Develop and manage relationships with designated fundraising target groups.
- Develop and manage relationships with regional and national organizations with relevant grant programs.
- Secure sponsors for all events.
- Gather documentation and complete the necessary applications and requirements to formally seek funding on behalf of Advance Atlanta.
- Compile the necessary documentation to fulfill reporting requirements associated with funds awarded to Advance Atlanta.
